Power Boats
WHAT IS A POWER BOAT?
This is a simple question, with a deceptively simple answer. We simply mean any boat that uses engines, as opposed to sails, as their main source of propulsion. However, this covers a very wide variety of boats indeed, including:-
- narrow boats
- small river boats
- speedboats
- cuddy boats
- power cruiser
- flybridges
- right the way up to luxurious superyachts
The comments here will therefore be of general applicability. See other pages for more detailed information – or simply just contact us.
IS A POWERBOAT FOR ME?
A powered boat of any type gives you more freedom to go out in a wider variety of weather conditions than the equivalent sailing yacht. They are easier to drive, and generally require less crew. However, they (obviously!) use more fuel than sailing boats. If you are unsure which way to go, then we suggest having a conversation with us.
